1996 Maxum 2300 SC
Boat Mechanic Special.
Normally the bilge is bone dry. I had it on the lake for 4 days last weekend and noticed water in the bilge. I thought there was a leak in the bellows so I took it in to have it repaired. The shop diagnosed it as the steering pin seal. Parts cost isn't bad, but the labor cost makes it prohibitive for me to repair. If you work on boats you could have a great one by fixing this yourself. This could be a great winter project.
Well equipped with matching dual axle Eagle trailer, cockpit cover, Bimini top, full camper enclosure, full carpet, alcohol stove (never used), porta-potty, icebox, sink, stern shower. New outdrive. Engine just serviced. New battery. Always kept covered in either the wet slip or in dry storage in winter.
