Accommodations
Pioneer offers a generous interior with her beamy design. The pilothouse helm not only houses the main raised helm station with windows all around, but you can also find the huge, comfortable U-shaped dinette and a fabulous chef’s galley. The dinette seats the entire crew so the helmsman is not left isolated from everyone. The dinette seats at least six adults and converts into a queen berth at night. The galley boasts a grand three-burner Force 10 gas range, an apartment-sized Dometec refrigerator with separate freezer, large double-basin sink, microwave, storage, and generous counterspace. There are window coverings for privacy and storage all throughout. In each hull is a stateroom with berthing setup for two with a desk and storage, and a head with a shower and Raritan PHEII commode. The engines are also access through its respective hull. In all, Pioneer sleeps six comfortably. Of course, to supply the galley and both of the heads, as well as the on-board washing machine (!), you have four water tanks which hold a total of 160 gallons of fresh water and her two holding tanks with a capacity of 10 gallons each. She has a seven-gallon hot water heater. Heat is provided by the Forced air hydronic furnace and the Force 10 range in the salon. This is a very roomy boat with great space for all types of uses.

Engine and Mechanical
Catamarans are appreciated for their efficiency in navigation and lower fuel consumption and Pioneer falls right in line. She is nicely powered by her twin Yanmar 35 horsepower diesel engines. With approximately 3,200 hours on each, she has years of life ahead of her. This graceful gal cruises at eight knots at 2,100 rpm and has a top speed of 12 knots under power. The owner says he has actually seen up to 18 knots under power and sail. Her two fuel tanks carry a total of 94 gallons of fuel and she uses less than a gallon of fuel per engine at cruise. She is so very fuel efficient; you almost never hear that about a 41-footer!
Electrical
The robust navigation electronics package includes a Garmin 3010C integrated system with radar, depth sounder, a Garmin 120 XL plotter, and an AutoHelm 7000 auto pilot. There is a hand control mike at the cockpit helm. For communications, you have a Standard VHF, and for entertainment, there is a nice Jensen stereo system. She plugs into 30-amp shore power at the dock and has a dual 20-amp battery charger. She has a 120 amp Cyrix-ct (with spare), and Yandina battery combiners. Engine battery charging is with a Balmar 150 amp alternator with three stage automatic regulator on the port engine and a standard Yanmar 90 amp alternator on the starboard. House batteries are 6 Trojan 6-volt 250-amp batteries with a Trace U2412/2500 Watt inverter providing AC power throughout the vessel. The helm is full of features you’ll appreciate. Take a personal tour to see all the bells and whistles this beauty has.
Additional Information
Owner states that he has a new Garmin GDL 30A Weather/Audio Satellite Receiver not installed, and a complete spare Simrad J300X autopilot unit that goes with the boat.
It is said that two hulls are better than one… and this well-equipped boat has lots of space, great economy, and she’s a great ride. Tour her today!
