Description
Falcon 27 made in 1994 with twin inboard Yamaha 165hp engines. I have had her for 13 years and she has been excellent for cruising/fishing and watersports. She has recently had a 30 year full insurance survey and all points have been rectified at a cost of £7200 ( Upgraded bilge pump, manual bilge added, new fuel pipes, new stop cocks, fire extinguishers, smoke alarm, etc). She is fully serviced and ready to go having being recently antifouled and new anodes also. The only reason for sale is I have purchased a larger/newer vessel. Accommodations
Forward ample double bunk, opening port lights to each side, opening out.
The saloon is well designed, wood finish throughout with spacious seating and wood finished galley table, two opening ports, forward facing window and hatch over the dinette creating excess lighting, giving a tardis feel. The headroom averages out at approximately 5'11".
The double aft cabin in very spacious in size, two large opening port lights (under cockpit helm and L-shaped seating area). Attractive lift up dressing table effect mirror with stowage under. Full FALCON 27 AC/DC power supply and switchboard.
Mechanical Equipment
Twin Yamaha 3.7, with Yamaha ME370STI hydradrives. Both engine brackets have been changed in the last 5 years. Fully serviced every 18 months.
Galley Equipment
The galley is to starboard with plate and cutlery rack, behind the two ring cooker with stowage below, electric kettle, fire extinguisher, To the right is a shallow sink with pressurised hot and cold water. A small Engle fridge and another locker above. To port, drawer, ideal for cutlery and storage with radio/cassette, inset.
Deck and Hull Equipment
An exceptional spacious area with full instrumentation, duel Yamaha controls, with wood veneer wheel. Clear Perspex hinged for chart display, over tinted cabin sliding lockable door with easy access steps down into the cabin. Standing headroom at the double helm seat under erect full canopy with windows and various zip access points, to stern. Curved windscreen with duel wipers, motors, with protection covers. Double vinyl helm seat and single nav seat. Spacious L-shaped settee, along the port side and transom, this also can convert with the shorter legs of the table to create an occasional double berth. Two floor sockets, for the cockpit table (that also stows conveniently to starboard behind the helm seat). Vinyl covers for both nav and helm seats. The whole area of the cockpit and nav/helm area is fitted with blue polypropylene carpet. Cockpit lighting set within the fibreglass tower with radio speakers. Engine bay pull ring inset covered with carpet, for full access to engines and batteries. Cockpit retractable shower hose with hot and cold water, set in mould design with teak finish. Aft cabin port holes set under helm and cockpit settee. Secure transom door access onto integral bathing platform with drop down stainless steel boarding ladder with wooden treads.
Deck
Full length integral platform housing stainless steel davits for tender. 6 fenders with ropes set in basket holders. Stainless steel grab rails continuing from midships around to the bow, each side of the pulpit housing fender basket holders. Hinged anchor locker, anchor chain replaced in 2024, Lewmar self launch fast anchor on windlass. Cleats situated to bow, cleats recessed midships, mooring cleats to stern. All warps and fenders. Ensign on teak pole. Hull and stern drives anti-fouled March 2025.
