Description
The 1992 Hunter 33.5 is a well-balanced performance cruiser that offers a great mix of comfort, sailing ability, and interior space. Built with both coastal cruising and liveaboard use in mind, she carries Hunter’s signature wide beam, giving the boat a much larger feel down below than you’d expect for a vessel in this size range.
Her fractional sloop rig and cockpit-led sail controls make her easy to handle short-handed. Up top, the walk-through transom and spacious cockpit create a comfortable space for entertaining, relaxing at anchor, or enjoying time at the dock.
Down below, the layout is practical and open, featuring a large main salon, private forward stateroom, and a generous aft cabin, making her a great option for weekend cruising, extended stays or liveboard.
Accommodations
Stepping down the companionway, the galley is immediately to your right, with the salon opening up just forward. To starboard, you have seating along the salon, with the dinette set up to port. The layout makes the main cabin feel open and functional, whether you’re hanging out at the dock or underway. Forward is the private V-berth stateroom, which offers a comfortable sleeping space along with storage and ventilation. Just aft of the companionway is the owner’s cabin, featuring a large athwartships berth, hanging locker, and additional storage. It’s a spacious aft cabin for a boat in this size range and works well for extended stays aboard. Teak cabinetry runs throughout the interior, giving the boat a warm, classic feel while keeping the space practical and usable.
