Description
This Succes 115 does not show its age. It has been sheltered for more than 20 years, summer and winter. Only on the days/weeks that the owners are away does it sit outside, and you can tell that. What a beautiful ship. The paintwork is fresh and it looks great inside as well.
A few years ago, all the windows in the salon were replaced with double-glazed glass, so it is well insulated, allowing for longer sailing times. The salon windows were also enlarged (removing the center post and lowering the bottom of the window) so that you can look outside well while sitting in the salon.
It is a cleverly built ship; there are no steps on the outside in the gangway (water always collects there and can rust), the raised edge on the aft deck is about 3 cm high, so if you drop something, it doesn't immediately fall into the water; the fender is made of stainless steel, and there are many other 'smart' features on board this Succes 115.
The strong Iveco 6-cylinder diesel runs smoothly, and maneuvering this ship is child's play with the hydraulic steering wheel, a bow thruster, and a stern thruster.
At the front is a double cabin with its own wet cell, behind it the kitchen with dinette, in the salon is the second steering position and plenty of light and space. In the aft ship is the master cabin with a larger bed and its own wet cell.
In short, a nice family ship that can provide many years of enjoyment.
