Mythical Calafuria, in this case the 25 “Big Cruiser”. Not just a simple motorboat, but a boat for people who love the sea and take it seriously. A vessel that is not the result of fashion or trend, but a symbol of solidity and safety. This example from 1988, a recreational “floating” unit, is in excellent condition and is equipped with various options that enhance comfort on board. Besides being a solid and seaworthy boat, its blue hull and large teak-covered areas make it elegant and timeless. Recent work has been carried out, including extraordinary maintenance of the engines, with service checks, revision of starter motors, gearboxes, and shaft lines, along with the replacement of sleeves and bitts. New bilge pumps, last service and antifouling in September 2024, installed very comfortable photovoltaic panels, while in April 2023 the gearboxes were overhauled. Currently, the boat is in dry storage at the shipyard in Fiumicino (RM) awaiting sale and from our inspection at first glance it needs to replace some sea inlets, redo a part of the vertical internal wood under the kitchen of about 40 x 40 cm in width, replace a small instrument support above the deck, replace the hinges of the hatch that contains the wiring for the external engine controls and fix the entrance door. The boat will need to redo antifouling before the next launch. The asking price is negotiable and the owner is selling due to relocation.
