Description
Oasis is a stunning example of the Wilbur 38 Flybridge Cruiser—one of the most respected and enduring Downeast designs to come out of Maine. Built in Southwest Harbor by Lee S. Wilbur & Co., she embodies the timeless lines and craftsmanship of a traditional Maine lobster yacht, paired with the comfort and capability of a true coastal cruiser. Renowned for their solid fiberglass construction, quiet ride, and exceptional seaworthiness, Wilbur yachts have long been favored by discerning yachtsmen who value integrity as much as elegance.
Meticulously maintained by an experienced owner, Oasis presents in truly remarkable condition. Her Awlgripped topsides shine, the interior is bright and inviting, and the engine room is exceptionally clean and well-organized. All systems have been routinely serviced and thoughtfully upgraded, making her one of the most turnkey Wilbur 38s currently available.
Notable highlights include a Volvo TAMD63L 318 HP diesel (repowered in 2004 with approximately 1,500 hours), a Vetus bow thruster installed in 2019, Webasto 16,000 BTU air conditioning added in 2020, and a new Lewmar windlass. Her layout is warm and practical, featuring a comfortable salon, well-appointed galley, enclosed head with shower, and a private forward stateroom—ideal for extended cruising or refined weekend getaways.
Adding to her appeal, indoor winter storage for the 2025–2026 season has already been paid, with spring launch included—offering a rare, seamless transition for her next owner.
From her classic Downeast profile to her exceptional condition, Oasis stands out as a prime example of Maine boatbuilding at its finest and is ready for her next adventure.
