Description
1985 Hallberg Rassy 352 | Dovka
Dovka is no ordinary Hallberg-Rassy. Launched in 1985, she is distinguished by a unique forest-green stripe, making her truly one of a kind. Privately owned and meticulously cared for by one family since 1990, Dovka has safely cruised the Chesapeake Bay, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and northeastern United States over four decades.
With classic lines and exceptional craftsmanship, Dovka features seamless glued teak decks and a tall rig, reflecting years of careful maintenance. From 2020 to 2023, her current owners undertook a major refit in San Francisco, renewing all major systems including lithium power, expanded solar capacity with upgraded rigging and 2021 the owners replaced the portholes throughout her hull.
Below decks, warm mahogany joinery, clever storage solutions and 2022 custom cushions provide a comfortable, practical home. Dovka sleeps up to seven, including a spacious aft owner’s cabin, convertible forward V-berth and two single bunks in the salon, each berth equipped with USB ports, fans and reading lights.
Dovka has proven herself ocean-ready with successful Atlantic and Pacific crossings, including recent voyages from San Francisco to Mexico and across the Pacific to French Polynesia. A 2025 survey confirmed her excellent condition and preparedness for further bluewater passages. Currently located in French Polynesia, Dovka can remain there until April 2027 without import requirements.
Designed to be easy to handle short-handed, Dovka combines impressive space with manageable size, making her an ideal cruiser for families or couples. She carries no history of insurance claims and benefits from numerous thoughtful upgrades, including a second icebox and improved aft cabin layout.
With family priorities shifting and children starting school, it is time for Dovka to find new custodians ready to continue her adventures. This well-loved and seaworthy yacht is prepared to offer her next owners many years of confident and graceful cruising.
For private inspections or further information, please contact The Yacht Sales Co. Dovka is ready for her next journey, perhaps with you at the helm.
