Report of the work carried out on the vessel as of July 22, 2019
includes the work done, as well as those items pending to be completed on the
ship, which will be described and accompanied by photographic documentation.
– Exterior and underwater (submerged part)
The ship was hauled out last April 2018, proceeding to
carry out the following work:
– Cleaning and sanding of the hull
– Priming of the hull, 2 coats
– Application of blue self-polishing antifouling paint Hempel, 2 coats
– Replacement of zinc anodes on the hull and shafts.
– Inspection of shafts and propellers, replacement of bushings on both shafts
– Replacement of through-hull fittings, total of 9, related to water intakes and discharges.
– Cleaning and inspection of seawater conduits, pumps, and bilge pumps.
– Stabilizers and flaps are also inspected
Regarding stabilizers and flaps, they have been verified and checked both
on land and once the vessel has been launched, conducting tests.
– Engine inspection:
This part has been the most important and where no effort or time has been spared
to ensure the result is optimal.
First, a study is made of the condition of both engines, as well
as the condition of the fuel tanks.
Without evaluating the first, regarding the fuel lines, as well as
the gauges and tanks, the first two are replaced and the interior of
the tanks is cleaned and treated to prevent dirt or condensation from forming in
them.
Work has begun on the cooling systems of
primary and secondary circuits, and then proceeding to the engine block,
adjustments, and turbos. All hoses have been replaced with high-quality silicone
hoses.
– Engine disassembly:
As already mentioned, work begins with the secondary circuit, desalinating it
by cleaning and inspecting everything, replacing the interior zincs and reassembling
it.
Seawater pumps are replaced and new impellers are installed:
Cleaning of the entire seawater circuit as well as the coolant circuit and
radiators is also performed, and the high-quality Shell coolant circuit is refilled.
Entering the engine area, filters and oil are changed:
Valve adjustments are made on both engines and gaskets are also replaced:
The condition of the injectors is checked, and the owner decides to replace them based
on the official service's advice to avoid future problems, with photographs showing
their condition prior to replacement.
Next, the disassembly of the turbos and their analysis is continued to
decide whether to replace them or not.
Finally, it is decided to replace all 4 turbos with new original ones.
It can also be observed that the exhaust elbows are in poor condition,
deciding to replace them with 4 new ones made of stainless steel.
Therefore, the most relevant work has been carried out, which has included
the replacement of all worn parts as well as their entire peripheral components, including
turbos, elbows, hoses, circuits for seawater and cooling…
All of the above is detailed item by item in attached invoices for the buyer.
– Generators:
A complete and thorough inspection of both generators has been carried out, disassembling
them as can be seen in the photos.
They have been completely cleaned and inspected with oil changes, filters, and belts, as well as
repainted and replaced hoses and other fluids.
Both batteries have been replaced and started up.
– Electrical system: (in progress)
New batteries have been installed and the entire installation of the boat has been inspected, allowing it
to be considered as new for all intents and purposes.
– Charger review 12/2020
– Lights
– Kitchen
– Climate control equipment
– Desalinator
– Freshwater and seawater pumps
– 220v outlets
– Flybridge crane
– Electronic equipment of the vessel: sonar, plotter, GPS, radar, radios….
– Safety and rescue equipment
Rescue equipment according to regulations and subject to dispatch,
– Extinguishing equipment
– Beacon
– Flares
– Mirror
– 100 Newton life jackets per crew member (total of 10)
– Final cleaning and repainting of the engine room and bilges.
The entire set of filters has been cleaned, the bilge painted, and its condition checked, with no
leaks or defects.
Additionally, the engine room has also been painted once the work is completed.
Conclusion:
Once all the work has been completed, it is concluded that the execution of the same has left the vessel in an optimal state for use, pending the sea trials that are
still to be conducted.
