Argo is a stunning example of a classic Falmouth Launch, originally built circa 1946 and comprehensively rebuilt over a three-year period, culminating in her relaunch in 2024. Her current owner has spared no expense in sympathetically restoring and modernising this timeless vessel, blending traditional craftsmanship with thoughtful upgrades.

Refit & Restoration

Argo recently underwent an extensive, well documented restoration totalling nearly £70,000. Works include:

• Completely rebuilt Sapele wheelhouse and Iroko-laid decks

• New Beta 25HP diesel engine (installed May 2024 by TS Marine Engineers)

• New Lofrans windlass, electrical systems, and helm instrumentation

• Full interior joinery restoration and cabin fit-out

• New stainless steel fuel system, bilge pumps, heater, and marine WC

A full refurbishment schedule and recent marine survey (July 2024) are available upon request.
