PRICE REDUCED!
Here's a chance to buy a great boat at a super low price! I've owned this boat for 10 years and I'm ready to sell her. Until now, I've had it priced too high. Now the price is ridiculously low. I've maintained the boat well over the years and made many upgrades. The boat is blue-water ready. All of the guts of the boat such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing etc are new or recently upgraded. Just take a look at the upgrades I've listed below.
I've had the boat on the market for over a year. So, why hasn't this boat sold. I'll tell you why. In spite of all of the major upgrades to the working parts of the boat, I haven't done any cosmetic work. This Whitby 42 has a lot of teak and brightwork. I have done NO VARNISHING for over 5 years. So, as a result, the boat looks tired. It has no curb appeal. When viewed from the outside from the dock, it looks worn out.
What this boat needs is a good varnishing and polishing. So, if you know how a paint brush works, here's a chance to get a great boat at a great price. Why don't I just varnish it myself? Because the boat's located in Langkawi, Malaysia and I'm back in the States. I'm sick of spending money on a boat that I don't use.
This Whitby 42 underwent a full complete refit in 2011 which included a complete rebuild of the engine, but that was 14 years ago. After that I added many upgrades in 2018, and even more new equipment in 2023. Check out the list below.
The Whitby 42 is unquestionably regarded as one of the most livable production boats ever manufactured. This one offers a good value. It has been properly outfitted, sailed and maintained, and is capable of taking you to great cruising destinations. So, make me an offer.
