Flying Fish is a 54-foot Hammerhead trimaran designed by Chris White and built by a professional boat builder for his own use. She was never sold after launch and has been meticulously maintained since day one. The boat is set up for serious sailing, with a fast, stable platform that handles well both single-handed and fully crewed. She cruises comfortably in the high teens and has a shallow draft of 2.5 feet (board up), making her ideal for coastal cruising and off-the-beaten-path anchorages.
The interior layout is practical and spacious, with room to sleep up to seven people. There’s a forward cabin with its own head and shower, a private aft cabin with ensuite, and a convertible saloon that works well for extra guests or off-watch rest. Systems are simple and functional, with a 700 amp-hour battery bank and a 51hp Yanmar diesel that cruises at 8 knots when needed. She’s currently in North Haven, Maine and ready for her new owner.
