Very well maintained ship with an incredible number of innovations. Suitable for long journeys.

Amaze and wonder! Who benefits from all the innovations and modernizations? This beautiful Stevenvlet has been thoroughly renovated over the past few years. It was the owners' wish to make long journeys and enjoy the ship for many more years. The tens of thousands of euros invested would pay off in years of sailing pleasure with the desired comfort. It may cost a bit. Double glazing, a new paint system, new bow thruster, convertible top, heating, electrically collapsible mast, and a completely refurbished electrical system. This is just a glimpse of the long list of innovations that will certainly please the new owners. However, do not underestimate the foundation of this heavily built ship. The joggled round bilge vlet has perfect sailing characteristics with very good propulsion. It is stable, has wide side decks, is spacious, and has sufficient headroom everywhere.

Our comments

• The answer to the question of why the ship is for sale: Increasing health issues mean that a larger and more spacious ship better meets the owners' necessary needs.
• Perhaps the white interior will take some getting used to. It has been in this configuration since construction and is therefore not painted white to hide moisture problems or other damages in the wooden paneling.
• In 2019, the ship was inspected by Beekman Expertise. Four significant defects were identified, all of which have now been resolved (weak bow thruster, electrical closure in the 12V system, horn defective, and rudder position indicator defective). The hull is originally built from 5 mm and still has the current thickness except for a few spots of 4.9 mm. We have also thoroughly inspected the ship and can only conclude that it has improved since 2019.
• Serious interested parties can only view the ship by appointment - and under the guidance of the broker - in Jirnsum (Friesland).

• Open cockpit with bench and cabinets under the side decks. Under the teak-covered cockpit floor is a spacious cellar.
• Salon with a corner sofa on the starboard side and a full crew seat. Under the crew seat is a cooling drawer. Opposite on the port side is the refrigerator, various cabinets, and the steering position.
• Forward cabin with the dinette on the starboard side. On the port side, the longitudinal kitchen and toilet area with electric toilet and washbasin. Plenty of storage space around in the forward cabin.
