Description
Built in aluminum under CE-A category this Dutch design yacht has all the qualities of a pocket sized exploration vessel enabling long sea voyages and living aboard in comfort and safety. Ideal for Northern European coastal and offshore waters, in every climate and all seasons. The Korvet14CLR – Compact Long Range – is a lean and mean machine designed for no- nonsense offshore cruising.
We call the US version the – Korvet50LR – with adaptations to the electrical system to accommodate both 50Hz and 60Hz shore power supplies. Other adaptations include USA centric equipment for ease of maintenance and support.
Description
Efficient and fast | Her innovative round bilge hull design allows for higher cruising speeds than traditional displacement yachts are capable of. With a cruising speed of around 10 knots she is faster than any traditional displacement yacht while frugal in diesel consumption.
Safety through Redundancy | Redundancy in systems ensures that a Korvet always remains a stable and safe platform. Two watertight bulkheads plus one crash bulkhead at the forward end of the forepeak confine the possible ingress of water to a closed compartment. The heavy crash bulkhead is watertight and provides the first line of defence against any impact to the bow.
