2018 ROBERTSON AND CAINE LEOPARD 40 3 Cabin - Southern Cross
BUILDERS REMARKS: The Leopard 40, a product of South African boat builders Robertson & Caine, features a unique, modern design thanks to experienced naval architects Simonis and Voogd as well as Robertson & Caine's design team. She resembles her predecessors in speed, agility, and blue-water performance, but her enhancements include an increased hull volume and an innovative interior layout, which is unlike any Leopard before her. Her galley is located forward and the forward-facing settee and window and an access door to the forward platform of the boat. This allows for a panoramic view with large sliding glass doors between the saloon and the aft cockpit. This arrangement promotes easy communication for guests and an open flow between the saloon and the aft cockpit, creating a fusion of indoor and outdoor living space.
BROKERS REMARKS: Southern Cross is a rare young model 40 that missed both Dorian and Irma, as she was situated in other countries. This is the 3 cabin owners version with dedicated starboard hull for the owner. The interior feels light and modern with the Ash panelling. You get at sea air conditioning, with a generator with fairly low hours, and Yanmar engines with VERY low hours. The electric davits make lifting a RIB a breeze and the walk-through forward door, gives YOU breeze.
