This Beneteau Oceanis 42CC - 'Tango' is an absolute beauty and has been immaculately maintained and fitted out to an exceptional standard - this is no ordinary 42 CC! She is Swedish registered and has had more than €60,000 spent on her since 2013 including recently repainting of the topsides which gleem as can be seen from the photos, and which with her teak side decks and cockpit make her really stand out and turn heads.
Her versatile sail plan (cutter rig) and centre cockpit make this a serious ocean going yacht.
Below decks she has two double cabins each with their own heads and a full galley in a 'tried and tested' layout which is perfect for long distance passage making.
Tango has been pampered like a baby by her owners and is now ready for her next adventure, fully equipped with everything you need.
We now welcome all serious enquires and viewing requests.
Tango was first delivered to the UK and later to Sweden and then the Mediterranean. Her current owner bought her in 2013 and sailed her back to Sweden where she was updated at a cost of €60000 during 2013-2014. She left Sweden 2014 and was a sailed to the Caribean by her current owners.
Tango was repainted in stunning blue in 2016 and described by her owners as close to 'mint' condition.
She has all sorts for factory fitted optional extras which include:
- Stay sail gear and sail
- In-mast furling
- Teak side decks
- Sun canopy with canopy panel
UPDATE: Sept 18
Tango had the rigging renewed in 2014 and all new Raymarine electronics fitted (except the radar which was new in 2012)
In the Caribbean sun the 600w solar panels will provide 30 - 35Ah on an average day.
The photos show only one Wind Generator but in fact there are two. One is original and has an output of 400W. The second was added in 2015 and provides 200W and is capable of operating on calm days.
The solar panels and wind generators on there own are sufficient to power the 60 - 80 l/p/h water maker without running the engine. In addition, the 2000W 12V to 230V inverter provides for all 230V needs. Consequently the owner has found no need to add an auxiliary diesel generator.
Tango does not have air conditioning fitted. There are two fans in the master cabin which the owner has always found adequate. She is fitted with 5kW heating for air and water.
