Designed by Niels Jeppensen and built with fierce pride  in Denmark by Danish craftsmen to very exacting standards.She has an embedded Galvanised steel frame to give her rigidity and strength.and her stiff GRP foam core hull brings her strength and stiffness also. The interior is constructed of honeycomb panels for lightness but finished with beautiful teak veneers .This version is a three cabin layout with the owners en-suite cabin in the bow.Aronnax is outfitted with all the comforts of home, Generator, Fisher Panda 10 kVA ,  Air conditioning, Water maker, fridge recently renewed, D400 wind generator ., Raymarine Electronics , new two years ago, also a diesel heater.The entire teak deck was  renewed with 16 mm thick teak  less than 5 years again now.Aronnax also comes with a factory fitted full.Carbon fiber rig, and Renewed rod standing rigging now less than 5 years old.She also comes ready to race with brand new full set of racing sails, used only once.for one regatta.These include a mansail, a code zero on a furler, two assymetric spinnakers, a reacher and a runner.and a J2, and J3 jibs all in Carbon laminate materials.There is also a cruising spinnaker and a set of cruising sails all in good condition.She also comes with a 2, 8 metre  Aluminum base RIB dinghy with an 8 hp Yahama Outboard 2 stroke engine.She was hauled in December 2021 and new anti fouling applied and her topsides polished.  Aronnax truly represent a great opportunity to own one of these fabulous offshore racers with a cruising interior. She us also very capable of offshore World cruising in extreme comfort.The sail cover needs replacing and Yanmar 70 HP engine runs well but has some surface rust on it. Aaronnax is Belgian flagged and has been out of the EU zone for more than 3 years  VAT was Paid when originally purchased in UK, she was purchased by present owner in  Portugal and sailed to the Caribbean.
