This excellent example of the very comfortable and dependable Island Packet 420, Splash of Water has been rigorously maintained and upgraded over the past 3 years. Always hauled and stored for hurricane season, and bottom painted annually. Very reluctantly, the owners must sell for health reasons. She has had numerous and significant upgrades and additions worth over US$70,000.
This boat is equipped for optimum self-sufficiency while cruising. Highlights include a 560amphr house bank, portable Yamaha generator (negotiable), solar panels, wind generator, inverter, alternator, two battery chargers, and other features that enhance comfort and safety during extended periods at sea or at anchor.
Splash of Water boat is completely furnished and outfitted for cruising right down to the life jackets, wet weather gear, towels, linens, and galley ware, just add your personal items & provisions and you will be ready to set sail.

Accommodations
Starting forward is a large anchor locker with interior access through a tall door in the forward head. This locker has custom shelves for sail, dive gear and golf club storage and a separate compartment for spare USCG life jacket storage. The forward head features a separate shower stall with acrylic door, a deep S/S sink with vanity, manual Raritan marine toilet, several lockers and drawers and excellent ventilation with an overhead hatch and opening portlights.
The forward owner's suite is a true delight with the entire beam of the yacht utilized for a grand and inviting retreat. The large island berth is offset from the hull providing easy access from both sides. The original dressing seat to port was replaced by three storage drawers. Drawers, cabinets, custom shelving, storage bins and a deep hanging locker provide ample storage.
Next aft is the main salon featuring Island Packet's signature bulkhead mounted fold-up table. The settee cushions are covered in eucalyptus UltraLeather with custom cotton slip covers. The starboard settee pulls out to provide a double berth. Next aft to starboard is the navigation station with an electrically powered swing-out seat and large hinged chart table. Under the table is a custom fitted drawer.
The galley, immediately to the starboard side of the companionway, features double S/S sinks, a 3-burner propane stove with oven, generous wrap around counter space, and a large refrigerator and freezer. To port is the aft head with entry from the salon or aft cabin, shower with wrap-around curtain, and manual Raritan marine toilet. The aft cabin features a large Pullman-style berth, large cedar-lined locker with custom shelves, numerous drawers and bins, a custom bookshelf and a custom overhead storage bin ideal for fishing rods, boat hooks, gaffs, etc. All hatches have custom teak-framed insect screens. All portlights are also screened. Splash of Water has a beautiful teak and holly sole.
