Description
1984 Bristol 38.8 "Little Star" is in Great Shape and Ready To Sail!
Owner will entertain all offers!
Designed by Ted Hood, and built by the Bristol Yacht Company. "Little Star" combines the graceful lines and praiseworthy performance that is consistent of Hood designs, with the meticulous workmanship, structural integrity and attention to detail that is Bristol Yacht Company. The end result is a well-founded yacht that is timeless in appearance, well balanced and sea-kindly, and built to exacting standards.
Forward is a private stateroom that sleeps two persons. The berth is offset to port and is Pullman style with a filler. To starboard is a settee with storage below, and a hanging locker situated just aft. The forward cabin affords ample storage as well as ventilation.
The head lies aft, and to port of the forward cabin. The head features access from the forward cabin, or from the salon via separate doors. The Bristol 38.8 features one of the largest heads in yachts under forty feet.
The main salon features port and starboard settees with copious storage behind and below, as well as a large bookshelves outboard. There is a second hanging locker and bureau opposite the head. The fixed, centerline dinette table with center storage and drop leafs on each side. The main salon is easily cable of seating six for dining.
The U shaped galley is very user friendly and keeps the cook involved in the conversation, whether in the cockpit or in the main salon. Opposite the galley is a navigation table and instruments . Aft of the navigation table is the double quarter berth, the forward end of which serves as seating for the navigation station. Throughout the interior of the vessel, there is plentiful natural light and ventilation.
