The "Gioia" of the type Staron Ocean Racer was built at the Royal Shipyard Huisman in the Netherlands. The yacht was built by Van de Stadt as a fast ocean racing yacht and also won the race from Ostend to Plymouth. The hull was made of 5.4amg aluminum (frames distance 30 cm) and the deck as well as the interior fittings were made of teak. The yacht was sailed by her owners (3) with pleasure around the world and in all safety. Extensive refit work was carried out from 2001. The ship is in good condition.
