This boat is of historical marine interest, being traceable under the same name since being built. Originally a "Humber Keel Sheffield Class" cargo barge, she has been converted to use for day and residential trips on inland waterways and canals.
Part riveted, part welded steel construction. It is reported that in 2008 the present engine was installed and the propeller and rudder repaired.
Accommodation for 12 passengers and 2 crew with disabled access (hydraulic lift and toilet/shower access). Extensively refitted in 2008 including insulation, rewiring and plumbing. Below decks is well served by natural light.
Above decks is a wheelhouse and coachroof accommodation. The mast and wheelhouse fold down. Below deck - from forward - 2 berth cabin incorporating chain locker, open saloon, galley, mess space with lift for wheelchair access from deck. Heads/WC (port), shower/heads (starboard). Port and starboard compartments with 5 berths in each, engine room. Oil fired central heating.
The galley has a large flame safe gas cooker/oven and an electric fridge.
