  5. Mainship 34 Mainship Pilot

    PORT CHARLOTTE, Florida, United States
    2001
    $145,962

Irish Wake is a 2001 34-foot Mainship Pilot in excellent condition. She is a beautiful boat with her recently painted emerald green Awlgrip hull, green canvas, and white deck. The boat has all the right equipment, with a 4212 (12-inch) Garmin chart plotter and sonar, to lead your way on the water and to find those fish. There are plenty of rod holders on the gunnels and the radar arch. A Ray Marine autopilot gives you a break from steering to those far-away destinations, and a 5KW Next Gen Generator allows you all the comforts when underway or when anchored. She is equipped with a bow thruster for easy maneuvering and docking. Double skipper and mate’s seating allows you plenty of comfortable room to stretch-out while underway. Twin lounges behind the skipper and mate’s seat allow you to kickback when you reach your destination. There is a huge built-in cooler at the end of the lounge behind the mate’s seat to cool your drinks and food or to keep those freshly caught fish. A built-in icemaker under the mate’s seat supplies ice for your favorite drinks or the cooler. In the cabin, there is a well-equipped galley, very large dinette, and a generous v-berth forward. Dinette seating converts to a queen bed; allowing the boat to sleep four adults. The boat has plenty of storage for those long voyages. The head is nicely equipped with a Vacu-Flush head, shower, exhaust fan and plenty of storage under the vanity. The general theme of the boat’s cabin is a warm wood interior, in great condition; including a teak and holly sole on the cabin floor. An upgraded 16K air conditioner easily handles cooling the cabin in Florida’s summers. All in all…a Great boat! The engine is a well-maintained 370 HP Yanmar diesel with 1,660 hours. A professional certified diesel mechanic has maintained both the engine and generator. She is an economical cruising boat, which burns 8.5 to 10 gallons of fuel an hour at a cruising speed of 15 knots, with a top speed of about 20 knots. The boat is moored at our dock at home. We are behind a lock and our canal is fresh water. Fresh water is very kind to the boat and in addition, the engine gets a good 6-mile rinse of fresh water each time the boat returns home. We have owned and loved Irish Wake for 6-years, but health concerns forces this sale. We may consider a trade for a motorhome of equal value.
