  5. Hinckley Bermuda 40

    Hinckley Bermuda 40

    Easton, Maryland, United States
    1960
    $786,725

The Bermuda 40 was Hinckley’s first fiberglass boat. “and established Hinckley as the premier North American Yacht builder of exceptional quality sailing yachts”. Hinckley manufactured 203 Bermuda 40’s over forty years. The problem is this boat restoration has been performed by Hinckley Yacht Service, the 6th re-invention of Hinckley. Check Hinckleyboats on Facebook, Instagram and at Hinckleyboat.com.  The nickname for this boat is " the Hinckley Deathship". Hinckley Yacht Services was preparing the boat for offshore racing .  The quality of repair work is unacceptable. You will need to probably remove most of Hinckley Yacht Service work including engine, electrical system, head, rigging, ... Who are you ?  An independent yard looking to restore a classic yacht.  It was a beautiful boat, till Hinckley decided the best plan of restoration was no plan.  This is a project boat.  Work is done across all systems with no plan, no thought to timing or order.  There is no evidence of wood rot anywhere on the boat.  Hinckley falsely claimed the kitchen counter had wood rot in order to replace the entire kitchen needlessly.  A perfectly fine kitchens needs to put back in. You are good with electrical systems, engine systems.  Both were restored by Hinckley but not well.  Check out the facebook page. The electrical issues are quite a list. The boat is unsafe to tie up to the dock. 22:  Critical safety items, that pose a direct risk of fire, explosion, electrocution, injury, or loss of life.31 :  Important safety issues that may compromise safe operation, the vessel may lose power, lose control or flood as a result of this problem. 17 :Not immediately serious, that may lead to substantial failures and/or repair costs in the future. 6. Fountain 29 Fever

    Port Huron, Michigan, United States
    2005
    $105,440

2005 Fountain 29 Fever 2nd Owner 575 SCi – Bravo 1 XR MYCO Steel Trailer with matching Spare Livorsi Monster Gauges with GPS Tattle Tale 380 K Planes Blue LEDs in the gauges and in the cockpit Stock sound system Stock Fountain Carpet Fresh Water Tank Standard sink, couch, cooler and bed in the cuddy Labbed 30P LH 4 Blade – Best of 81MPH downriver – 78-79 in flat water 370 Hours The top end was completely gone through over the winter. Valves, Valve seals, Pushrods, Rockers, Springs, Retainers, Locks, ARP Head bolts I used the best the parts I could find. DPMS Rebuilt the blower and I had them Teflon strip the rotors I also installed new Hardin Marine slant cut tips with internal flaps When installing new tips I was very pleasantly surprised to find zero rot where the tips went through the transom, the wood was still white. I do have pictures from when this was done as well as when I was rebuilding the top end.   Original owner and myself only used Amsoil 20w-50 with zinc engine oil. This 575 should run flawless for another 300-400 hours as the common issues have been addressed. I have receipts for all the work done and the parts purchased. Dynamic Speed and Marine in New Baltimore, Michigan did the work to the heads.   All work was done around 348 Hours While the engine was out, I degreased and painted the bilge with white bilge paint Installed new bilge pump hose You could eat off this bilge it is so clean now Boat does have a sea strainer Never seen salt water Depth finder has a mind of its own. New transducer should fix that.   Boat runs flawlessly, just did a poker run last month for the Wertz Warriors and it didn’t skip a beat. Does NOT load up in the no wake zones like other 575s. Never had a soot problem on the transom. Boat comes with a binder of stuff the original owner got when he bought it brand new, including the performance report as well as a cockpit cover and full cover.   I do have a survey from when I bought it 1.5-2 years ago. Bought the boat with 330 hours. Never been stored in the water by me or the original owner. Always kept indoors when not in use. This boat is very very clean for its age. Never intended to sell this boat after the journey it took to get it and the work just completed. Located in Port Huron, Michigan 48060 $75,000 Or Best 810-310-0696

  8. Mastercraft X-Star

    Mastercraft X-Star

    Thonotosassa, Florida, United States

    $83,649

2008 MASTER CRAFT X-STAR SUPER LOW HOUR MASTER CRAFT X-STAR! ONLY 162 HOURS AND PRICED BELOW LOAN VALUE. The boat has never been in salt water and was kept on a lift under cover its entire life. The boat has minor scuffs here and there as expected on a 14 year old boat. Trailer is a 2008 model purchased new with the boat. The X-Star is the most decorated and honored and worshipped boat and this is arguably the best year to own. It stars at the PWT, X Games, Dew Action Sports Tour and SuperCross. The idealized wakes launched an entire culture of gravity-defying junkies. It’s the official towboat of everything cool and every significant tournament around the globe. It’s a big part of the soul of every pro who competes for the podium. Of course, the cult following begins at the incomparable wakes, so it’s not surprising the X-Star has pulled more 1080’s in competition than any other boat. But beyond mojo wakes, every other element of design has come together perfectly in a way that feels like nirvana. That’s why X-Star has coveted Rider’s Choice Awards four years in a row. This boat was purchased in 2008 from our local Mastercraft dealer and it lived on our lift covered with a touchless cover, when not on the lift the boat was stored in climate controlled garage. This has been an excellent boat, the only reason for selling is we don’t use it.
