1988 Rampage express sportfish. Low hours -540 hrs, new 350 vortex engines replaced in 2012. transmissions rebuilt by Nopper marine in Fairhaven MA. New engines added 120 hp allowing props to be turned out a extra inch allowing much better speed and fuel economy than other rampages. Calm seas 24.5mph at 2800rpm. Huge cockpit for fishing or entertaining. It can seat 8 people out of the wind in dual back to back seats along with ability to take 3-4chairs across the transom so can have 12 people out comfortably- no other 28' boat comes anywhere close to that. This boat has a huge transom door and swim ladder for easy boarding people/swimmers or giant tuna, kayaks etc. Radar, vhf, fish finder, GPS chart plotter. Engines start easily and were run 8/1/22. It is a fantastic family boat and really excellent fishing boat- has 22' dual clip outriggers so trolling 7 lines and getting quad tuna or mahi mahi hookups is easy. We have owned it for 20 years and it has been a family dream boat. Selling only because we moved up to a bigger boat with different cabin arrangement. The boat can be viewed and then when a buyer is serious It can be launched for a sea trial. We want the boat to have a new happy home. Also note look into dual ownership with friends - I wish I had done that in my 20's for fishing and fun summers. V-8 engines much cheaper to work on and maintain vs outboards and in Newengland a express fisherman with a windshield stopping all water spray and having a full size bathroom vs a center console where everyone is sunburnt and soaked is no comparison.
