Dear sailing community....It is with the heaviest heart and many mixed emotions I announced the good ship Maritime Diva is for sail/sale. (We are the proud new owners of a Beneteau 343.) Maritime Diva is a beautiful performance racer cruiser C&C29 Mark 1 from 1977. She has won many Thursday night and VARC races over the years. She is a FAST boat and super responsive. Her PHRF rating is 191. She comes with an extensive sail inventory of old but solid sails. (2 Mains, 2 Spinnakers, 150% Genoa, #3 Kevlar Jib). We just came off a 2 week cruise to desolatuion sound and it breaks my heart to sell her. She has been so loved and raced by Vancouvers all-female sailing team for past 8 years! The engine was completely replaced last year with a refurbished atomic four inboard engine -most of the essential things work but there are a few projects for sure mostly of the electrical nature (a couple cabin lights need a new bulb, mast head light needs a new bulb, the vhf radio should be rewired into electrical). Mechanical and plumbing and structurally all sound (as far as I know!) Lots of scratches and dings but my God, she’s a beauty.  I don’t use depth sounder, wind speed etc and don’t think those are properly wired at moment. All the fittings etc are still there but I’m not sure they work/turn on. Fuel gauge, blower, choke all work. Red/green and stern nav lights all in good working order, but mast head and anchor light need new bulbs. In 2018, New helm compass and new batteries to go with the new refurbished atomic 4 engine all installed in 2018. In 2017, new gas tank and gas pipes installed as the old gas tank leaked from the top.  Also a new foredeck hatch cover as the other one was no longer water tight. Installed a Y valve in 2016 to pump water into ocean (when far enough offshore.) Plumbing all works well throughout the boat. Inside of the boat- walls and teak sanded and repainted and varnished inside when I bought her 10 yrs ago although she’s starting to show some wear now. She’s got a folding prop (and a fixed prop in my spare parts box) Moorage is not transferable. Sold As Is and Price Non-Negotiable.
