Description
The 2023 Nautor Swan Swan 55 offers an extended, hydraulically operated swim platform (stern transom) that folds down to create a “maxi-yacht”-style lounge / beach area. Great for swimming, tender launching, or just relaxing by the water.
The cockpit is unusually spacious for a 55′ yacht: the coamings widen toward the stern to make space for winches and lines and to maximize cockpit seating. It also uses twin “transformer” tables that can be reconfigured — for dining, lounging, or even converted into sundecks.
“This new version of the Swan 55 model Line represents a new generation of hull design developed over the past couple of years with the assistance of tools available today to study the behavior of the canoe body in all sailing conditions.
There are hulls with a powerful back end that attain maximum sailing length and low resistance while heeled thus the lowest possible displacement/lenght ratio and they provide excellent balance through the range of heel angles in combination with the well proven twin rudder set up.”
