  2. Farrier F-41

    Wallaroo, South Australia
    2005
    $395,000

This beautiful Farrier catamaran presents in exceptional condition. Designed by one of the worlds most respected and accomplished multihull designers, Ian Farrier this design was created for those boat owners who really enjoy sailing and want their catamaran to sail well as well as being a safe and strong vessel capable of cruising the globe. Fitted with twin dagger boards this vessel has the ability to point high into the wind so if there is a wind change then it’s no big deal to get to your next destination. Playtime is located in South Australia where the owner regularly cruises the Spencer Gulf as well as three long range voyages into the Southern Ocean to Ceduna and return with ease and maximum enjoyment for all onboard.  Built in high-tech DIAB foam sandwich and ATL epoxy resin it is light and strong, the ultimate off shore cruiser. It has also been built and set up to comply with commercial survey standards of 2C & 1E where it has only ever done a few charters by the current owner. It has the unique layout of 2 x large aft cabins to give you two extremely comfortable large double berths cabins with plenty of room for you and your guests. It is a galley down arrangement which gives you a very large area to cook and prepare your gourmet meals in a large comfortable galley. (It’s interesting to know that a galley down will generally give 60% more cupboard space than a galley up layout). The vessel has been set up to be a standalone, self-sufficient cruiser and ready to set off to do more exploring of the Australian coast and beyond. Please contact Multihull Solutions for the complete inventory and specifications.

  5. Looping 47

    Tahiti, French Polynesia
    2004
    $430,125

The Looping, designed by Patrick Luscher is a performance cruising catamaran.  It’s fast and light, with a long shallow draft, snub bows and a cedar strip planking construction.  The design uses the full bilge space, so the interior hull is deep, but the light displacement design is not compromised. The boat was built in Port St Louis in France by her first owners.  It’s clear that the construction was done by a carpentry expert, with quality joinery and attention to detail, and is filled with distinctive touches.  You’ll notice the saloon floor and tear shaped table as examples. Kiapa Nui has had three owners, the last owner has taken much care making the boat into a really exceptional sailing and cruising catamaran.  If you’re looking for perfect simplicity of design, sailing pleasure and a stylish interior – you’ve found your boat. Kiapa Nui sailed from the US West Coast in 2015 and has spent the last two seasons enjoying the islands and atolls of this region.  Prior to this she had an extensive refit in 2013/2014 with a long list of new equipment: Ballenger Spars mast (2014); Standing rigging (2014); Running Rigging (2015); Sails (2014) 2x Yanmar 30 HP engines (2013) B&G navigation instruments and plotter (2014); Standard Horizon VHF (2017) Blue seas electrical panel with clean rewiring (2013) Spectra water maker + Wind power + Solar (installed 2017) Windlass (2014) New fridge and freezer (2014) Many smaller comfort items like West Marine folding cushions, BBQ This Looping 47 is really an almost new boat, kitted out with only the best and excellently maintained.  Download the inventory now to see the exceptional equipment list. 6. Custom Peter Snell Sarah 12m

    Horizon Shores Marina, Queensland
    2010
    $239,000

Little introduction is needed for this well-presented Peter Snell designed sailing cat, aptly named “Oasis”. She is ready and waiting for her new home. “Sarah” is one of the newest designs from the Peter Snell designed catamarans and named after his daughter Sarah. At 12 metres, it’s still able to be powered by 2x high thrust 9.9hp Yamaha outboards. The Easy Sarah features a high chine above the waterline. The overall beam of this boat is the same as the 11.6, but the width is carried lower in the hull, resulting in more space at hip level inside the hulls. The hull flares just above the waterline are deeper at the bow than previous Easy designs with the stern longer and wider. This boat also offers an even more protected cockpit than the others. Still manageable single-handed or short-handed, the gear is perfect for two people. The current Owners have prepared a video for you to view “Oasis” on a recent voyage, enjoy! One of my favourite things about this boat is her superb protected cockpit. Key features are: Queen bed portside with walk in wardrobe/storage. Good sailing performance and setup. Versatile galley with plenty of bench space. Many storage spaces. Protected undercover cockpit. 2 x 120W Solar Panels 4x200AH AGM House Bank Honda 2 KVA Genset Raymarine Electronics Webber Q BBQ Tender and outboard. Various spares. And much more… Contact Multihull Solutions today to book your inspection!
