  4. Boston Whaler 24 Outrage

    Amelia Island, Florida, United States
    1996
    $93,530

This is a very unique boat.  There have been so many upgrades to the boat it will be hard to list them. I have owned the boat for 5 years and know the previous owner.  The boat has, to my knowledge, always been kept in dry storage.  The hull is in fantastic shape.  The twin Yamaha Inline 4 motors were installed in September, 2014 and are under manufacturers warranty until September, 2019.  They have 215hrs on them and have been perfectly maintained. Here is a list of other updates: Seadek on deck, gunwales and coaming bolsters, 2017. New upholstery, 2017. New canvas t-top and all exterior decals replaced, 2014 Taco 170 Outriggers and center rigger, 2016. 2, 7" Lowrance HDS Gen 2 Touch Chartplotters with conventional and StructureScan transducers, 2016. Lowrance Sonichub receiver (installed in console) and new Lowrance speakers, 2017. Custom leaning post 2015. I added the Mattson bracket/swim platform to the back of the boat in 2017.  This moved the motors back 27" and allowed the rear cooler seat to be moved back, making the cockpit much larger. The battery switches and all of the electrical buses and terminals were replaced throughout the boat in 2017.  All the navigation and courtesy lights were replaced with led lights at that time.  There are two led lighted (blue) cupholders in at the helm. There are individual covers for the console, leaning post and rear seat and a whole boat cover. The boat has 2 large storage boxes in the bow and 2 large fish boxes in the deck.  The console has storage space and a portable head. New trailer included. I get a lot of compliments on the boat.  Most people think it's almost new.  I am retiring this year and decided to treat myself to my first brand new boat.

  5. Boston Whaler 210 Outrage

    Clearwater, Florida, United States
    2000
    $33,752

Besides fair mouldings (she looks good!!) and a good grade of non-skid throughout, the 210 Outrage has stainless steel deck fittings befitting those of a much larger craft. No toy cleats, rather these ones are big enough to take a line from a 40-footer beside which you might raft-up at a club weigh-in. There are large rub and grabrails and a stainless steel bow rail, plus an anchor roller, motor well rail and cockpit toe rails. The aft hawsepipes keep the cockpit snag-free, as does the boat’s combination of built-in storage compartments. Storage ranges from a lined sub-casting platform hold in the bow that doubles for anchor storage – rubber clips prevent rattles once the lid is closed – through the twin under-gunwale rod and gaff racks (four per side) to the twp 6 foot-long subfloor fish boxes and the dry storage area inside the console, where you’ll find a labelled fuse panel, battery master switch, and the twin batteries. Thus, you should be able to fish without tripping over tackle! The fully enclosed center console even includes a Porta-potti!. Why select “Outrage” over other listings: BUILT TOUGH: Needless to say, the 210 Outrage boasts Boston Whaler’s signature (urethane) foam-filled hulls using a patented process which, when the inner and outer skins are joined and the liquid foam core cures, results in a one-piece or monocoque structure. This provides the proof of it’s moto “The Unsinkable Legend!” The hull shape is another example of its clever design. There is a super sharp entry flanked by aggressive down-turned tapered chines and a big, flared bow. Boston Whaler makes the Outrage series as it’s center consoles with the most aggressive the sharpest entry and, in this instance, a handy 20 degrees of transom deadrise. The exceptional buoyancy of the Boston Whalers coupled with the flared bow makes for a boat that travels over, rather than under, the steep head seas at even low speeds. And the forward casting platform can easily support the weight of a couple of keen anglers or a burley anchorman playing tug of war. The boat feels stiff and stable as it carries its 8’ 6” beam well forward of the console.
