Description
OLYMPIC is an ideal candidate for conversion to theme restaurant, B&B, private club, high-end sport fishing Camp, Exclusive Hotel & Corporate Training/Events Center, or dream residence. Naval Architect plans are available to expedite conversion.





Built to ABS Rules with a riveted steel hull. All original plating replaced from keel to above waterline with new welded steel plating to USCG rules shortly before going out of service in late 90's.




Built by Maryland Dry Dock Co., Baltimore, MD (Hull #126) for the Claiborne - Annapolis Ferry Co., and named "HARRY W. NICE" (Maryland Governor 1935-39)










Dimensions: 207' x 62' x 8'6".
Displacement: 773 GROSS - 308 NET tons.
Capacity: 605 passengers, 55 autos (USCG Certificate of Inspection expired).
12' Auto Deck clearance.
EST. 11 knots, single 8 cyl. Fairbanks Morse 16 x 20 diesel.
Electrical: Cummins 6 cyl diesel w/ 80 kW generator. Fairbanks Morse w/ 80 kW generator




MAIN DECK: Port and Starboard car decks, 3 traffic lanes along each side, with 4' high weather-walls outboard and a center deck house structure. Center island structure has access from car decks to storage rooms.



LOWER DECK: Engine room, crew accommodations and lounge/eating areas below.



UPPER DECK: An enclosed grand staircase at each end leads up to the passenger deck. The top deck structure has an elevated pilot house and several Officer's staterooms on each end. The center line passenger lounge has restroom facilities, passenger seating and lounges. The snack bar has a Hotpoint electric grill, Kenmore refrigerator/freezer, State 100 hot water tank, Stainless steel sink and counter. Doors from both sides open onto the surrounding outside observation and boat deck. Stairs on each end of the lounge lead down to the car decks below.

She is winterized and in lay-up status. Engineers will require approx. 10 days to get her remarkable machinery running after acceptance of purchase agreement.

OLYMPIC is an apparently solid vessel in need of painting and attention to deferred maintenance.



Owners will consider joint ventures, and financing is available for qualified operators.

Accommodations
Deck and Engine Room crew quarters and lounge area below decks can accommodate 14-16 crew members. There are separate Captain, Mate and Officer Quarters with several staterooms, heads and showers aft of the two Pilot Houses at both ends of Passenger deck.

Full Size refrigerator, commercial stove, 100 gallon hot water heater.
