HULL CONSTRUCTION AND TOPSIDES

Solid fiberglass hull to waterline; 1" balsa-cored sandwich above waterline. Complete hull was fiberglassed with vinylester resin. Hull awlgripped Flag Blue by Awlcraft 2000 with Awlcraft clear coat on top. White boot top, red bottom. Decks and superstructure are painted Oyster white by Awlcraft 2000. Construction of decks and superstructure are moulded 3/4" balsa sandwich on decks and 1 1/2" moulded balsa sandwich on trunk cabin and top. All interior bulkheads are balsa-cored sandwich as well. Varnished teak double salon doors open onto large aft cockpit. Natural teak covering boards on cockpit coaming. All bronze thru-hulls throughout.

SALON WINDOWS & HATCHES: All by Diamond Sea Glaze and all are slightly tinted; two sliding windows. Windshield glass is thicker than side windows. 4 Bomar 22" x 22" white hatches with screens. 4 Beckson white opening ports with screens.

STEERING

Hydraulic steering by National Marine Hydraulics. Class 2 twin ram steering unit with stainless steel cylinders and pistons.

ACCOMMODATIONS

For four with one spacious owner's stateroom forward and two in convertible queen sleeper sofa in salon. All interior joinerwork is varnished solid cherry with paneled doors and lockers. Starting forward, there is a chain locker followed aft by a very beamy owner's cabin with vee berths. There are storage cabinets above and below. Vee berth cushions are burgundy leather. Next aft are hanging lockers followed by an enclosed head with separate shower to starboard with macerating W.C. and single sink with hot and cold water. To port is the "down" galley. Galley has double S/S sink, 4 burner Miele Ceran 220V cooktop, a Sharp convection/microwave 110V oven, a Subzero 110V freezer, Subzero 110V refrigerator with cherry doors, both mounted under the counter. Up several steps is the salon which has the Burgundy leather queen sofa to port, a helmstation with seat to starboard, and matching leather easy chair. There's a teak top dining table which also opens for chart kit storage. The salon and forward cabin have carpeted soles for quiet running when underway. Varnished teak double doors open onto spacious cockpit.
HEADROOM: 6'2"-6'6".

ENGINE & MECHANICAL

Single Caterpillar 800 hp, 3406E diesel with Twin Disc 2:1 Reverse gear. (Engine has extended 5 yr warranty). Rubber engine mounts; Drivesaver shaft coupling; 2 1/2" shaft. Bronze drip free stuffing box. 4 bladed 32 x 32 LH bronze prop with rope cutter on shaft. Spare 32 x 32 prop. S/S rudder. Wesmar V28E 10 hp bow thruster (24V) with counter rotating props. Recessed 48" Bennett hydraulic trim tabs. Twin Racor 1000 fuel filters with vacuum gauge. Single Racor filter for generator. Oil transfer pump for main engine, reverse gear, generator. Extensive Sounddown insulation includes 2 lb/ft 2" Sounddown on forward and aft bulkheads and overhead in salon. 1 lb/ft 1 1/2" Sounddown on lower salon walls. 1/4" Sounddown pad under salon carpet. Engine room has been awlgripped Oyster white throughout engine room. 2 separate zone Marine Air reverse cycle air conditioners (16,000 BTU/hr with digital controls).

TANKAGE

  • Fuel: 775 gal. in fiberglass/vinylester resin tank under cockpit.
  • Water: 300 gal. in fiberglass/vinylester tank under galley.
  • Holding: 20 gal. in fiberglass/vinylester tank under shower seat.

12V/110V-220V systems with full circuit breaker AC & DC panels with voltmeters, ammeters and polarity meters. 3 Master switches for engine, house and generator batteries. Two 8D Rolls deep cycle house batteries; 4 Group 31 engine starting batteries and separate Group 31 generator battery. 9 kw Onan 9.0E-QD diesel generator (model MDKAV) with extended 5yr/2000 hour warranty. Heart Freedom Marine 30 inverter/charger with Link 2000 control panel. Glendinning Cablemaster 50 amp 80'shore power retractable cord. Cable TV and phone connections.

FRESH WATER SYSTEM

12 gallon Raritan water heater. 20 gallon pressure water tank. 12V Groco Paragon Senior water pressure pump. Fresh water washdown pumps on foredeck and aft cockpit. Grohe S/S shower tower. Delta faucets. Tecma Wilcox Crittenden macerating head (very quiet running) (no y-valve; discharges to holding tank).
